My iPod and I have been taking a little time apart recently. The iPod was playing in my car when I got into the accident a few weeks ago. While I don't remember what it was that caused me to look away from the roadway (and thereby be involved in an accident), the iPod is a possible candidate. So, the iPod was in the dog house for a while for just being at the wrong place at the wrong time, if nothing else.
I'm liking the ability to keep the iPod full thanks to the disks I bought back in November. Having about 200 CDs worth of stuff on my iPod makes it a lot easier to find something that fits my mood from moment to moment. It makes me realize how much my CD listening habits used to be driven by the excitement of newly purchased music. I'm a little more selective in my CD buying habits these days... and there isn't much new material to sustain that kind of interest.
