The last two weeks have been a little bumpy around here. Mrs. Geek had work problems. Mrs. Geek got sick. I interviewed for a job I very much wanted, and was rejected. I got sick... on Monday night... with a 101.6 degree fever.
I feel like we're in quarantine lockdown around here. I was tossing and turning so much from the fever on Monday night that I found myself clearing space in our somewhat-cluttered spare room at 1:30am to make room for the inflatable mattress... lest my feverish flailing disturb her own recovery from illness.
I've been home so much during the last month that I'm getting a touch of cabin fever. Being able to work during the last day or two has been something of a relief, but I mostly just want to be healthy and active again.
