| All hail the penguin |
One of the many software products I deal with on a regular basis has a penguin mascot called Tux. Being a fan of the Bloom County character Opus, I think that this is pretty cool. Yet as with all things, the cultish followers of Tux can take this to extremes. I've been attending a convention/conference devoted to the Tux software product this week. After going out on the expo floor to mix and mingle with the corporate friends and supporters of Tux, I can say that penguin shirts, hats, frisbees, yoyos, plush toys, and the like are cool.
