Mrs. Geek and I returned to our abode from the Land Of My Birth. Everything here appeared to be in order except for three lemons in the kitchen purchased before Christmas to create a lemon meringue pie. I believe they were growing the mold used to produce penicillin.
Our trip back was largely uneventful except for not one but two "Is there a doctor in the house?" moments. First, a man had a seizure in the airline terminal just as a we were boarding our plane back here. Later, someone passed out in the plane after landing at our destination as we taxied to the terminal. Gender of the latter person was unknown; he/she was placed on the floor of the airplane cabin and all we could see of him/her was cowboy boots.
Our visit with my family went well. We were talking about the trip with my Mom last night. She commented that she "almost wouldn't let us leave." I'm going to savor that phrase for a LONG time, thank you.
