I'm back in the rat race after a week of vacation. Mrs. Geek had to attend a work-related conference, and I decided to tag along. I got to sit by the pool for a couple days, after which, Mrs. Geek and I had some of fun at one of the House of Mouse theme parks. We also celebrated our third wedding anniversary -- I got her a pair of celtic "trinity knot" earrings and an Annie Irish rag doll, she got me a bottle of Scotch.
Now that we have returned, more practical matters intrude. Does anyone want a sofa? It's sort of gold/wheat in color, with a single long base cushion and several down back and accent cushions. It's 84 inches long, and the local thrift stores don't seem to want to pick up anything longer than 80 inches. The sofa has done us yeoman's service, and is still in pretty good shape... though the down-filled cushions molt a bit. Our new Franklin sofa from Ethan Allen is ready for delivery, and "out with the old, in with the new" as they say.
